SUPERVISION THAT EARNS ITS HOUR

Lin provides supervision in Melbourne for psychologists, interns and registrars including the 5+1 pathway and 4+2 until it closes. She is a Board-approved supervisor who works with few enough supervisees to stay close to the detail of each one's practice.

You'll have access to her individually and also in a group setting where appropriate. Both face-to-face at her Eastern and Bayside locations in Victoria or by telehealth across Australia. You can also choose to schedule one-off consultations when you need a second mind on a specific thing rather than an ongoing arrangement.

This is supervision for the part of work that follows you home, the tiredness that has no single cause. You can say the unshaped thing first to Lin and make sense of it afterwards with her.

HOW SHE SUPERVISES

Lin starts with what actually happened, not the version you tidied up on the drive over or the clean online preparation. Your reactions to a client are data. She works with them rather than around them. She'll disagree with you out loud and expect the same back.

Logbooks, progress reports and Board requirements are kept in order, without the paperwork becoming the focal point.

What supervision with Lin isn't

It isn't therapy, although it will occasionally come close to the edge of it and she'll name that when it happens.

It isn't line management. She has no authority over your role and no stake in how you are viewed by wherever you are working.

It isn't a signature on a report she hasn't seen the work behind.
